I came across this quote in a book that I'm reading.

It is a good rule, after reading a new book,
never to allow yourself another new one
till you have read an old one in between.
C. S. Lewis

Besides the Bible I don't think that I really have ever re-read a book in its entirety. Maybe I should try this out...It will probably help me cut back on the amount of money I spend on buying books:)

Anyone use this "rule"?

UPDATE: I think that I read this quote out of context and what is actually communicating is every time you read a recently published book it is good to go back and read a classic "old" book. I probably should do that too:)
